HOW TO GET HERE
Chester Zoo is easy to get to and not far from the M56 or Chester city centre.
You’ll see lots of signposts on the main roads around Chester. If you’re visiting us via motorway, follow the signs to Chester until you see the brown tourist zoo signs.
Once you get onto the A41, stay on that road until you reach a roundabout with signs for Chester Zoo. Sat navs often get confused so please ignore them once you get onto the A41. Please note: Don’t turn down Flag Lane North as it’s a dead end.
TRAVELLING BY FOOT OR BIKE
We really encourage green travel. It’s good for the environment and helps us in our mission to prevent extinction. We offer 15% discount for cyclists.
TRAVELLING BY CAR
We’re well connected to the motorway and roads network. Plus we have lots of FREE on-site parking.
TRAVELLING BY RAIL
We’re only a couple of miles from both Chester and Bache train stations, with easy transport links from either station.
