Our Projects in South East Asia
South East Asia is a globally recognised biodiversity hotspot. In fact, the region consists of three of the world’s most biodiverse countries; Malaysia, Indonesia and The Philippines.
A massive proportion of the species found in this region are endemic – and a large number threatened with extinction.
Three of the world’s six largest islands can be found in South East Asia, with habitat loss, poaching and illegal wildlife trade threatening these remarkable habitats.
We’re working throughout the region to protect these irreplaceable habitats and species from further loss, addressing some of today’s most critical conservation challenges to protect this unique and iconic region.
