This year Luna takes a journey across South East Asia to find a Legendary Creature that holds the secret to protecting the rainforest!
New for 2023! Luna takes over our Lazy River Boats, so watch out for hanging bats, spooky skeletons and hallowed pumpkins along the way.
Luna’s Legendary Creature is made up of five magical animals which have incredible and unique qualities.
The rhinoceros hornbill’s amazing quality is that its call is LOUD.
The blue-crowned hanging parrot’s amazing quality is being SWIFT.
The Sulawesi macaque’s amazing quality is being AGILE.
The crowned pigeon’s amazing quality is being MAJESTIC.
The gharial’s amazing quality is being super STRONG.

No, this event is FREE with zoo admission.
Members can also enjoy the trail for free as part of their membership.
Do I have to book a time slot?
No, you can complete the Halloween trail at any time during your visit to the zoo.
Can children go on the spooky boat trip?
Passengers must be able to walk unaided (babies and children may not be carried).
