Linking ecology and physiology to aid conservation of wild equids

My PhD research uses behavioural and physiological measures to evaluate variation in performance of wild zebras and horses.
I am examining chronic nutritional stress across Cape mountain zebra populations, linking this to population performance and habitat quality.
I am also looking at the link between population structure and performance in both zebra and Welsh mountain ponies.
