World Rainforest Day

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with directly from the lush rainforest habitats at Chester Zoo and hosted by wildlife broadcaster and conservationist Lizzie Daly!

This is a great opportunity to bring global conservation to life in your classroom. During this interactive lesson, students will:

  • Explore the vibrant rainforests of South East Asia, discovering extraordinary wildlife and ecosystems.
  • Learn the powerful impact of choosing sustainable palm oil, and how it helps protects rainforests for both wildlife and local communities.
  • Uncover the vital conservation work Chester Zoo is doing to protect these precious habitats.
  • Hear from experts at the zoo and come away with real-world actions they can take to make a difference.
