Everything you need to know about the Tree Kangaroo Experience
Step inside our Goodfellow’s tree kangaroo habitat and discover one of the zoo’s most unique species from an entirely new perspective. On this exclusive experience, you’ll get the rare opportunity to observe Kitawa and her joey up close.
You'll be met at the zoo by your own dedicated Experiences Host, who will take you over to Islands to join the tree kangaroos at lunchtime as they snack on some tasty branches. One of our expert keepers will be there to tell you about how these arboreal marsupials are specially adapted for life in the rainforest canopy of Papua New Guinea. You'll gain insights into their behaviour, diet and the conservation challenges facing tree kangaroos in the wild.

Booking the Tree Kangaroo Experience includes zoo admission for the participant only.
Bookings for the Tree Kangaroo Experience are non-refundable and non-transferable.
This experience has a minimum age requirement of 16 years old.
Regrettably certain guests will be unable to take part including people with epilepsy; relevant phobias or known allergies; mobility issues, pregnant women and immunocompromised individuals.
Whilst every effort is made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, due to practicality and health and safety this cannot always be achieved. Please contact us before purchasing.
