The Square
The Square is a stunning new venue based in the original stable block where the zoo began back in the 1930s. Offering a large open plan venue as well as a set of unique smaller meeting spaces, the Grade II listed building has been sustainably renovated into a timeless space where old meets new.
Capacity: Up to 380 guests
The Oakfield
In 1930, George Mottershead moved into this glorious Victorian mansion and began realising his vision for a new kind of zoo – a haven for animals from all over the globe.
Today the Manor remains at the heart of Chester Zoo and has been lovingly restored to become the ideal setting for your event. Ornately decorated and rich with historical details, it’s hard to imagine a more perfect location for an experience you’ll remember all your life.
Capacity: Up to 120 guests
