Choose how much you can support, with a monthly direct debit for £5, £8 or £10. All monthly adoptions come with:

Your chosen adopter name will be displayed on a ‘Thank you’ plaque by the chimpanzee habitat.
- A welcome pack
Every adopter gets a certificate, postcard, car sticker and fact sheet about chimpanzees.
- A soft toy
A cuddly chimpanzee toy, perfect to add to a gift!
- Regular updates
As well as reading our exclusive quarterly magazine, Our Zoo, you can enjoy three email updates per year about the chimpanzees at Chester Zoo.

How your adoption helps
Chimpanzees are critically endangered.Their main threats include poaching, pet trade, destruction of their rainforest habitats and disease. Together we can help save this social species from extinction.
A welcome pack
Every adoption comes with a welcome letter, certificate, picture of your adopted animal, fact sheet, thank you card, adopter card sticker, plus your name on a 'thank you' plaque by the chimpanzee habitat.

Enjoy reading our exclusive magazine, Our Zoo, four times a year, including behind-the-scenes videos and insights into our ground-breaking conservation work.
Frequently asked questions
You can adopt an animal for £5, £8 or £10 a month. An initial payment of £5, £8 or £10 will be made by credit or debit card plus £4 postage (or collection from Chester Zoo is free). Bank details will need to be provided so Chester Zoo can debit your chosen monthly amount from your account.
