Lions are under threat.
Wild populations continue to decline due to human-wildlife conflict as well as habitat loss, climate change and wildlife trade. With your help, we believe our conservation research can influence the sustainability of endangered species and inspire others to join us in our challenge to protect our planet’s biodiversity.

Frequently asked questions
You can adopt an animal for £5, £8 or £10 a month. An initial payment of £5, £8 or £10 will be made by credit or debit card plus £4 postage (or collection from Chester Zoo is free). Bank details will need to be provided so Chester Zoo can debit your chosen monthly amount from your account.
