As well as reading our exclusive quarterly magazine, Our Zoo, you can enjoy three email updates per year about the penguins at Chester Zoo.

Although meerkats are not considered a threatened or endangered species, you will still be generously supporting our global conservation efforts. With your help, we believe our conservation research can influence the sustainability of endangered species and inspire others to join us in our challenge to protect our planet’s biodiversity.

Frequently asked questions
You can adopt a meerkat with Chester Zoo from just £45. This is a one-off payment for the whole year.
A month before your adoption expires you'll be given the option to renew for another year. At this point you're welcome to change the type of animal you adopt.
