How your adoption will help Sumatran orangutans
Orangutans are critically endangered.
Their major threats in the wild include habitat loss due to palm oil farming, illegal hunting, and natural fires. With your help, we believe our conservation research can influence the sustainability of endangered species and inspire others to join us in our challenge to protect our planet’s biodiversity.

Frequently asked questions
You can adopt an animal for £5, £8 or £10 a month. An initial payment of £5, £8 or £10 will be made by credit or debit card plus £4 postage (or collection from Chester Zoo is free). Bank details will need to be provided so Chester Zoo can debit your chosen monthly amount from your account.
