FE Staff Zoo CPD

This one-day course is designed to meet the needs of educators, technicians and unit managers involved in the delivery and support of Further Education Animal Management Courses.

A Technical Advisor from City & Guilds will also join us for the day and be on hand to answer T Level questions.

We’ll head over to our Conservation Breeding Management Area (CBMA) for some behind the scenes tours of our off show working areas to look at best practice when managing a range of taxa, some involved in EEPs and reintroductions.

This day will include talks and tours led by our specialists of areas such as:

• Amphibian Pods
• Small Mammal Areas
• Aquarium
• Hoofstock facilities
• Penguins and AI management
• Islands Development

PLUS, this course includes the unique chance to visit our BRAND NEW Snow Leopard habitat /Himalayan area and meet our project managers.

Due to the nature of the behind the scenes tours – spaces are limited.

This course is only for staff involved with the delivery or support of related courses and not suitable for students.
