Join us on our exciting animal behaviour skills course where you’ll gain EXPERT knowledge in a fun introduction into all things animal behaviour, designed for children in school years 7-9.
Every Saturday for three weeks you will have the opportunity to learn from our experts about how and why we study our animals’ behaviour in the zoo. And how this data can be used for habitat design and enrichment. Find out how we care for different species and even have a go at carrying out your own mini behavioural study.
Our skills course does not include any hand-on contact with any of the animals in the zoo, or behind-the-scenes access to any keeper areas. This course is for children who are in school years 7-9 at the time of the event running.
