Join us for our Young Conservationist activities exploring conservation careers and discovering how we how prevent extinction. These activities are great for those exploring career opportunities in zoology, veterinary, conservation and education.

Our summer course is a 3-day summer programme for young people in secondary school years 7-9. Combining classroom learning, hands-on activities, access into the zoo and time with our zoo experts. This is a great opportunity to discover more about the world of conservation.

Who it’s for?
Young people in secondary school years 7-9. Children should be booked into the school year group they are currently in. The school year runs from 1 September – 31 August.

What’s included?

  • 3 days of activities relating to the Conservation topic.
  • A Certificate of Completion to show your budding conservationist has acquired the skills and knowledge they need!

Lunch is not included.

Our Conservation Careers Days do not include any hands-on contact with any of the animals in the zoo, or behind-the-scenes access to any keeper areas.
