The calf was born yesterday morning at around 7am and both mum and youngster are doing very well indeed.
Our keepers are giving them vital time to bond and so we’ve only been able to see them on our CCTV cameras so far.
But hopefully we’ll be able to bring you updates and pics over the coming days and weeks as they’re currently off-show to visitors.
