Join our Curator of Lower Vertebrates & Invertebrates, Dr Gerardo Garcia, as he describes the arrival of two very special guests from Prague Zoo.

The two Komodo dragons represent the largest species of lizard in the world and can be found in our Islands in Danger exhbit.

The reptiles are three and a half years old and are named Jantan (male) and Ora (female).

Read the full story about their arrival and see more pictures here.

We’re proud supporters of the Komodo Survival Programme, a local NGO working in Indonesia to protect this amazing species.
