VOICE FOR CHANGE

Part of conservation is using your voice to create social change around you.

This challenge is all about inspiring, influencing or supporting others. Celebrate the hard work you’ve been doing and tell others about it! Letting more people know about ways they can help wildlife will really help conservation work.

There’s no one way to do this, you could you could create a poster or artwork, you could create a film or give a talk to friends and family, you could even write to your local MP to make them more aware of a conservation issue you’re passionate about.

Whatever you choose, get creative and do something that suits your way of using your voice for change!

WHAT TO DO TO COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE?

We’d love to hear about how you choose to use your voice.

  1. Choose who your audience is. Who do you want to influence and inspire?
  2. Really consider the message you want to share with others
  3. Decide how you want to ‘use your voice’. Do you want to make something? Deliver a talk? Do a piece of writing? There is no right or wrong!
  4. Gather the resources you might need. If you’re writing to an MP, you might need to research who would be best to communicate with. If you want to give a talk you might want to jot down a bullet point list or create a presentation. If you’re creating a piece of artwork, consider the art materials you’ll need and where you’ll put the art for others to see.
  5. If you’re able, take a photo of how you’ve completed this challenge
  6. Apply for your award
