The Covid-19 pandemic has led to one of the most challenging periods for the zoo in our 90 year history. Join our CEO, Jamie Christon, as he explains the impact of the pandemic on the zoo and our mission and outlines our plans for recovery, as we head towards our 100th birthday.

Speaker: Jamie Christon – Chief Executive Officer
As Principal Executive, Jamie reports to the Board of Trustees with responsibility for the overall management of the zoo’s strategic objectives and team of Directors and Senior Managers. He is responsible for one of the largest and most popular zoos in Europe.
In 2019 Chester Zoo welcomed over 2 million visitors, employed 1,000 staff and had a turnover of £46m.
