Join our Zoo Rangers on Wednesday 30 August as we celebrate Whale Shark Day!
Come and take part in shark themed activities around the zoo! You’ll learn lots of fascinating facts about whale sharks and how our actions can protect them.
These activities are included as part of your zoo admission or membership!
What’s On…
Discover Sharks:
Drop in touch table activities to learn about these magnificent whale sharks and what we can do to lessen their threats of plastic and climate change.
Location: Outside of Planet Shark – our immersive ‘out of water’ shark exhibition.
Time:10am – 4:30pm
Shark show:
Join our Zoo rangers for an exciting Shark Show as well as interactive games that help teach children about sustainable fishing.
Location: Madagascar Basecamp
Time: 2.15pm
