Our AMAZING zoo is not only home to lots of endanged species from all over the world, but there are lots of places you can spot some of our INCREDIBLE native species too!
If you pay a visit to our beautiful Nature Reserve keep an eye out for lots of native birds such as robins, kingfishers and starlings as well as some stunning insects like butterflies and ladybirds. Some of our camera traps have even caught rabbits, hedgehogs, hares and foxes roaming the area!
If you’re visiting the zoo you will find lots of other locations brimming with native species such as the Sunken Garden located near the giant otters and Bumblebee garden where you’ll spot the residents going about their day. Our brilliant horticulture team have done a fantastic job of planting lots of flowers and plants which attract bees to the area.
