SUSTAINABLE PALM OIL FOR SCHOOLS EVENING
Tuesday 23rd April 4pm-6pm on site at Chester Zoo
Are you a teacher that’s ready to inspire the change makers of the future? Do you want to take action to protect rainforests? Are you interested in getting LOADS of resources to help you to develop a conservation-focussed curriculum?
Join our zoo experts and we’ll cover the basics of what palm oil is and why we’re promoting sustainable palm oil. We’ll dig deeper to find out more about how your school can become a sustainable palm oil champion and guest speakers will share their inspiring stories of whole school engagement and passionate young change makers. Are you planning a visit to the zoo with your educational group? In this interactive workshop, you’ll find out how to make the most of your visit to Chester Zoo. From arriving at the zoo, to finding your educational workshop or a space to eat lunch, we’ll give you helpful tips and tricks to ensure your day goes smoothly!
How long does it take to cross the Zoo? Which animals fit your current topic best? What online resources do we have to support your visit? Bring your questions along, and our helpful and friendly staff will help you to plan an amazing day out to the Zoo that your group will never forget.
