COLOUR SCAVENGER HUNT

Animals use colour in lots of different ways and there are SOOO many different colours to find in the animal kingdom.

For this activity, we focus on some of our smaller creatures – invertebrates – to inspire your learners to look around them and find the matching colours to the ‘Emerald Green’ Jewel Wasp, the ‘Leaf Green’ Giant Leaf Insect, the ‘Red’ of the Red Devil Vampire Crabs and the ‘Brown’ of our Weaver Ants.

A great game to play at school, home or even at the Zoo!

Using colour and tally charts it’s a lovely way to get kids involved in a simple maths activity and to talk about colour as part of art and design.
