Our Wildlife Connections Family Clubs are perfect for parental engagement and supporting families to learn together, whilst also delivering the wellbeing benefits of connecting with nature and taking action for wildlife.
Our team of conservation education experts will bring all the equipment and resources needed to run and supervise hands on wildlife themed workshops for up to 15 children and their parents/carers. Each family will be supported to make their own animal homes and feeders and to learn about UK wildlife together, from bats and birds, to bees and butterflies.
Each workshop lasts 90 minutes and can run in school time, after school or at weekends to suit your needs. The package includes a series of four workshops and we will discuss with you the best way to deliver these in your setting.
Costs: £900 per 4 session programme.
The price includes two members of our team coming to deliver the workshops. Where possible we will also make a pre-visit to your venue to look at the workshop space and any outside space that could be improved through our work with the families.
Groups who have booked a Family Club can also book for the participating families to visit the zoo together at discounted educational rates, normally only available for school groups.
Family Clubs are only offered to schools/organisations within 30 minutes drive of the zoo.
